I’ve created the Damage Board (where I sort out how much worse the characters are at the end than they were at the beginning).
I’ve determined the subplot for the next book.
I’ve figured out who lives and who dies.
I have Draft 0 of SILVER ON THE ROAD (The Devil’s West #1)
Now – because I never know what I’m actually writing until I get to the end, then it’s time to make it actually SAY what I was writing - I need to start looking at all my reader-notes, and begin charting a plan of attack for Revisions 1.0….
But first: a cookie. And possibly a deep tissue massage.
(and this afternoon I go back to work on the mystery. ’cause that deadline didn’t go away while I was otherwise busy…)
